Kate transformed a single emerald necklace I never wore into the most gorgeous and striking ring.
I loved the design process: Kate has excellent knowledge of coloured and unusual gemstones – and where to find them … I was keen on a certain shape in a grey colour: Kate sourced an amazing kite-shaped Salt and Pepper diamond and then suggested a small bright orange sapphire as the perfect complement to the green and the grey. Kate brought all the stones together in a computer assisted design and we were really easily able to try things out and decide what worked best, it was amazing! I’m so pleased with the ring, it is unusual, contemporary yet Art Deco, something to wear every day and to treasure. I was a little worried about cost but in the end the price was 25% less than the budget I gave Kate – even with 18 carat gold! Kate’s craft, customer service, attention to detail and to ‘getting it right’ is definitely 5 star! Thanks Kate!
