Jewellery Design Process

As a bespoke jeweller, my design process focusses on craftsmanship and attention to detail. Whether it’s an engagement ring, a family heirloom redesign, or a one-of-a-kind statement piece, we will bring your ideas to life by working closely together. Unlike large jewellery retailers, my bespoke service is  interpersonal.

Consultation

The first step is to get in touch via email, phone or social media and we’ll discuss your initial ideas.

Then, if you’re able to visit the studio, we’ll arrange a time that’s convenient for you where I’ll offer honest guidance, talking you through stones, materials, designs and budget – and I also carry an extensive range of samples for inspiration.

While it is nice to meet all my customers face-to-face, I do work with clients from all over the UK so if distance is an issue we can communicate by email and post.

Design

For individual custom pieces, I draw computer designs and often produce models in wax before making the final piece, so you can be involved at every stage along the way. This works especially well for clients who would like a bespoke piece, sometimes using old heirloom jewellery and stones to create a highly personal and sentimental piece they can wear and treasure.

Craftsmanship & Creation

Once the design is finalised, I will begin creating your bespoke piece. I pride myself on the precision and artistry that’s put into each piece.

Once your work is finished and polished to perfection, I will invite you in to make sure you love your new jewellery. If you can’t come in to the studio, I can send this out to you by secured postage.
